Watched this on YouTube today. Dee keeper Warren Lyall was very competent and had clean sheet v England.
Ethan Crombie played whole 90 mins and looks as if he'll be a player. He was behind most good things and assisted in the winner. Brave, creative and forward thinking from midfield.
A brilliant 1-0 v England is a great result given the English boys looked bigger and stronger ( as usual).  Very mature performance all round.

Charlie got the last five minutes so all three Dees were capped.

Crombie is ready to at least be on the bench. He isn't the tallest but looks very strong, gets about the pitch well and gets stuck in. Lennon Miller was starting at 16 so there is no reason why Crombie can't at least be on the bench and we can offload some high earners stealing a wage on the bench.

No need in Dhanda when is he is not good enough and versatile. Waste of a wage. Would much rather see Crombie given a chance and we could have used Dhandas wage elsewhere.

Thought Crombie was Scotland’s best player, but as we have seen in the Trust Trophy this season the step up to senior level is hard and not many make it. Crombie has always looked to me at least, the most likely of the current group. One thing that did surprise me this afternoon, was the performance of England, they were dire. Physically bigger and stronger in some areas, but not all, as has often been the case in various age groups against Scotland. They had the bulk of possession and  created next to nothing, one looping header off the bar, but other than that Lyall didn’t have a save to make. They really seemed to have underestimated Scotland and got a bit tetchy as the game went on, culminating in one of them being sent off in the last minute for throwing the ball into the face of the Scotland goal scorer after words were exchanged. Crombie went to celebrate with the bench at the final whistle and I’m not sure if he even saw the red card. When he came back on he went to shake hands with the dismissed player and the team mate ushering him off the field and they refused his hand and pushed him away. The look on Crombie’s face was priceless. The whole ending to the game was hilarious.
