Hi,

I'm trying to remember the name of a pub a distant relation of mine used to own.

His name was Jim Brady and the pub was on Albert St near Arthurstone Terrace - does that ring any bells with anyone?

cheers in advance.

I'm not sure when it changed hands or closed but I remember it being there in the early 80s. He took over the running of it from his dad so it must've been there for a good while.

The Albert Bar is on that junction on the other side of the street. Also, the Windsor bar is / was a little further down Albert St on the corner of Lyon St.

Either of these?

Aye it was the Eastern Bar, on the corner of Graham Place, now called Harlequins.

Thanks for the information.

I could not remember the name of the street that it was on the corner of - Graham Place which is now a cul-de-sac.
