What has one players wages got to do with not chucking it tonight?

That(to me) is a sh*te attitude. We should just accept yet another late collapse but basically their whole team gets paid more than us? Sorry but that's utterly bollocks.

Because they are on higher wages because they are better players.  It's not that hard to work out.

Tonight's game is as good as reason as many this season to chuck it. How often have we had opportunities to play either of the Old Firm off the park and deservedly win? Not from grinding out a win but genuinely outplaying them? We were 15mins from that but walked away with f*ck all but empty praise. So in answer to your question, yes... tonight is only another reason, in a long line this season to "chuck it".

You’d make a good politician…. Take a few words from a much longer quote then misrepresent them. 
Again my point was losing to Rangers 4-3 imo isn’t a reason to stop attending. No more complex than that

Absolutely zero!! We chucked a 3-1 lead at home with 15mins to go. Through a combination of sh*te game management and substitutions, to yet more defensive lapses.

 

Playing Rangers IS NOT AN EXCUSE.

They are paid more, they are better players, they had more strength off the bench, hence they were able to get stronger as the game went on whilst we got weaker.

It's not an excuse as you keep banging on about, but it is a legitimate reason.

There really is no reasoning with stupid is there? Regardless of their bench, WE didn’t make correct/enough substitutions. We were party to our on downfall.

 

Yes, they have better players. Yes, they have bigger wages. Yes, they have a stronger bench.

 

They are not reasons we lost. They are EXCUSES. THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS WE COULD NOT SEE OUT A 3-1 LEAD WITH 15mins TO GO. 

 

That is the REASON we lost. FACT!!

I don't read or post on this forum much. Been a Dee fan for over 40 years. For a long long time Scottish football has been dominated by two teams. I for one don't expect anything other than a defeat when coming up against them. I can't believe there is a thread labeled Doc out. We are Dundee FFS. Since Doc took over we finished top 6. Drawn against the old firm a few times at home playing attacking football and having a go. Drew with utd lost and beat them twice. Our league position and defence this year isn't great but at least we have had a go at teams and not played boring park the bus crap football. TD is the best manger we've had since Bonetti. Frustrating at times yes. Let's not forget we are Dundee FC. I have 100% faith in TD. We will be alright this season.
