the answer imo was to take adewumi or tiff off and bring on Ingram , keep mulligan where he was

This is exactly the sub that should have been made.  Even after the Garza for Fin change we were crying out for Mulligan back in midfield.

I thought against United and Last night against the current Buns is the best we've played in terms of good football over the last 2 seasons Tony Docherty has been in charge. The amount of chances we've created in both games.

But the same problems are happening time and time again, The Defence is nothing short of comical and the teams above us will be rubbing there hands for the run in, we literally have no positional sense or organisation at the back, something is far far wrong and has been for the not just the last 2 seasons. We are now on course for to have the 2nd worst defensive record in SPFL history. And that is not sustainable on any level.

As for the midfield and bench, some ppl on here think the boy Garza is some sort of great player, but as I pointed out to a few guys around me last night, imo he's a liability, his positional sense and his willingness to abandon his position his something short of scary, no bloody wonder Big Mo was was screaming at him for the last 10 minutes. The minute Josh came out that midfield area Rangers took over.

As for the striking positions if Simon Murray if Injured and out for a period of a few weeks or so, then it's going to be very difficult to see how we create and score goals, cause his enery up top can not be replicated on any level of what he offers us, and the decision to get rid of Main.and not replace him will fall directly on Tim Keyes and John Nelms.

But overall I'd settle for 11th right now if you asked me.

We find our self sort of midfielders capable of competing at this level. And the only two midfielders that are at that level are not re-signing next season.  We will go from way short to none soon.

Sylla is at the level. Garza was in his initial games with us. People were saying he would play at a higher level. He seems to have lost confidence.

Our defenders are continually criticised but midfield is the problem. The opposition has a field day there. Tavernier and Lawrence goals might have been prevented if Docherty had bolstered us in the middle by sacrificing either Tiff or Adewumi. Similar to Dons game where, for their 2nd, their midfielder had the freedom of Dens to stroll unopposed before burying his shot into the corner of the goal.

I'm absolutely sick of the Groundhog Day naively of Docherty.

It's our whole defensive side of the game that's the glaring problem. That includes midfielders and defenders. Yeah, there probably wasn't suitable options on the bench but fresh legs have got to be better than some absolutely knackered. Every professional footballer regardless of position should be able to run, chase, close down opponents. It's basics. I'm not saying win every tackle, but enough to restrict opportunities and the stop opposition team to have the freedom to do as they please and dictate the game. Even Ingram or Samuels thrown up top for some energy or legs... their defenders had had our front free running at them near on 80mins.

Pathetic home crowd.

£33 and on TV, what do you seriously expect. Plenty season ticket holders never turned up either. Fans don't want to go to games against them.

I'm a season ticket holder but live in Aberdeen. Stayed at home and watched on the telly. 17:30 is a terrible kick off time on a Saturday IMO

The two goals from outside the box remind me of Hearts 3rd goal in the cup-again a 20 yard shot not closed down

Agreed, watched them back today. when we talk about game management, and a question do they not wear data tracking vests - you can see Tiff and Adewumi both slowing. The 2 goals at 3-1. Tiff is jogging in both, Garza has also lost or been taken out of the action. There is no closing down. We needed another def mid on at that point. They started to play tavenir in a roaming role too.

you have all those defenders on, we should have went for closing up the shop at 3-2, I still think that playing Sylla at the back for the last 5 minutes would offer something, he is stronger and quicker than Joe at that point. Add big billy and we keep it compact. anyway its done, another loss from a great position. We rode our luck but so did they. I cant see this ever changing under TD, I really can't. We will stay up perhaps, but we will also have the same issues under game management. Big Joe has been excellent but his sluggishness with an inexperienced Donnelly is also a huge worry against technical and big pacy strikers. This is why the re-emergence of Kimpoyoka bothers me a little when  we play the farmers!

Our big problem is lack of confidence at the back we panic especially in last quarter of game need to consolidate midfield to protect defence

Prone to just go back to front under pressure Joe has helped but need to remain calm control the game pas it around look for the pass forward
