Let's be careful what we wish for... Davidson sacked by queen's park

One of smallest budgets in division yet 11 points clear of bottom, first Cup quarter final in 50 odd years? and Dom Thomas (best player and captain) sold in the Jan window by the owner......lucky for TD he doesnt  seem to have such a high bar to meet.

Ian Murray sitting with their Dir of Football today so if you like a punt!

That would be right out of the JN hand book.

I doubt we'd have the same defensive problems. I'll ask him if JN's been in touch when I pick him up in 50 mins.🤐

I thought QP were spending a bit of money. Obviously you've got more information on their situation than me I just thought they'd spent a bit given some of their signings.

The strategy changed post Owen Coyle to playing/signing mostly youngsters. Accies, Airdrie and Morton will have lower budgets but thats about it.

Successful managers can say whatever they want, they can act like dickheads, they can howl at the moon, they can jump around like monkeys, and no one cares. Failures get picked up on every single aspect, and right now TD is a failure.

I think TD is a decent guy, but that isnt enough to make it as a manager. I think you could split a managers role into smaller parts, everyone has different versions of how they'd split it up, but Id go for signings, tactics, formations, subs, results and coaching. Out of the six sections, as it stands TD fails in every section.

He and we desperately need things to turn around, and quickly. While I hope we can, I just don't think TD has it in him, tactically he is dismal, he constantly uses the wrong formation, and is incapable of learning, well it seems that way,. As for subs and results, lets just skip that. Can he coach a decent defence, yeah let's quickly skip that. Has this seasons signings led to a competitive balance squad, skip skip skip.

Sunday should be win or bust for him, but it won't be.

But you can't say they were jumping around like monkeys... just ask José

Doc got a reprieve :). Let's build on this. It just shows you what we can do with 100% effort and attitude. And with organisation and leadership in defence. Plus a formation that suits us.

Doc has had a tough time but this was his first proper blip and deserves to get the chance to turn it around. Before this spell we hadn't been in the bottom 2. Previous relegations we went on long losing runs with terrible footballers. We have proven when it clicks we are a good side and hopefully he realises 3 at the back is not the answer

We would be daft not to realise that we are still in a serious position, after our brilliant first half we allowed United back into the game, similar to recent fixtures that we went on to lose. It’s something the manager needs to work on, we all knew the Dabs would go up a gear and we should have had a better response Imo.

Stay up with TD or stay up with a replacement.....pretty sure 99% of fans pick option one. I certainly do.

JN will deserve credit if TD steers the ship to safety. Hardly any other Club would have "held".

We won the first half 3-1 (going on 5 or 6) and for all their pressure we drew the second half 1-1.
