Dress it up as much as you like that is your inference

As in said before, I was replying to someone saying they'd had enough. I also said the team chucked away victory(which we did). Saturday's result was another in a long line of let downs this season and the past few. And I agreed with someone saying they'd had enough. I never encouraged them, they posted and I replied. Another member stated losing to Rangers isn't a that bad of a thing. No, normally not but the manner of the defeat has just added to countless times this season(andclast) we've chucked away points (and wins) and let fans down. So it is another reason for fans already feeling like that to feel it more.

Just because I don't disagree with someone saying they've had doesn't mean I'm asking people to stop going. They chose to post how they felt and I agreed. Interpret that as you please.

As for the dressing up... whatever you choose to do in the privacy of your own four walls, that's your business and yours only. #ooohsuitsyousir 🫣🫣

Ingram had played well against Celtic and Rangers at Dens,Billy was now fit and could surely have played 20 mins.Reilly looks ok when he comes.

we could have taken the front 3 off and gone 4-5-1

Going to a back 5 was the killer blow-they had the freedom of midfield.

We play Reilly up top on his own and the ball just comes back at us, we play more defenders and the same thing happens. I don't think we have the options to change the personnel to go like for like and we don't have a calming influence in the middle who can dictate the play when we're trying to see out games, we ride our luck more often than not.

Hmmm not sure mate, trying to think of someone off the top of my head.

Kevin Thomson.  Also the best at committing a foul while making it look like he'd been fouled.

completely agree, and to the original point they have all this data they view on the bench, with your eyes you could see Tiff (and is known for : blows about 70mins onwards as he runs his @ off. Joe was up against a strong and fit Dessers, he has great running off the ball, you could see he needed some cover or fresh legs in there. If we can see all this, its begs the question for the 20th game we have lost from a lead - why the fk does TD and stooges not!!

I am convinced had we played billy in there from 3-2 we would have taken something from that game.

Shaughnessy is a brave player but unfortunately he has lost a bit of pace. I’m afraid all the results and stats prove that Tony has failed, for two seasons running, our midfield and defence is not up too the job. It’s his responsibility  to find a solution. I commented at half time that we were going to run out of energy, so many players were out on their feet, we needed subs on much earlier. Five minutes from the end he when we were running on air and he should have bought us a bit of time by bringing on two players, just to break things up a bit. A wee bit of gamesmanship can come in handy when needed.

Chris Sutton commented Joe being out on his feet at half time, to his credit he gave everything he had in the second half.

Yes Astley or Koumetio. Am sure that fresh legs would have helped. Anyway water under the bridge now.

Yes gives his all, great leadership and reading of the game. Great with the head and goal threat too. Weakness is pace and maybe more so now after injury.

Shaughnessy has played 4 league games, and we've conceded 9 goals in those games, so 2.25 goals per game.

Without him, we've conceded 58 goals in 27 games, so 2.15 goals per game.

He might have good leadership skills, but his legs and pace had gone by the end of 2023. I think he would be better with Ashley and Graham either side, but we as a team are worse with a back 3 IMO.

The squad building this season has been nothing short of calamitous.

Does anyone know who the members of the team are who are responsible for player recruitment? I would assume Docherty and Strachan are two but unclear who else.

Not to be too harsh on the guy... but isn't Scott Paterson our defensive coach? Great players don't necessarily make great coaches/managers and all great coaches/managers weren't great players but from i recall, he was absolutely sh*te, a journeyman centre half at best with a two bob Paul Weller Barnet.

What about bringing in someone like Jim Duffy as a defensive coach, even part time? John Terry credits him for teaching him how to tackle and read the game. Few others have also praised him for his coaching skills/knowledge in that aspect. Just a thought??
