I was very much in the camp of giving Pressley a chance. I understood he wasn’t a popular choice, but with his experience since last time he managed a club, I could just about see why the club would be interested.
2 games into the season, and I can already see why his appointment was so unpopular. With all the experience in the world, to be served up those last 2 performances regardless of whether the squad is still “gelling”, is nothing short of a disgrace.
When he first joined, Pressley spoke about how the club needs to stop changing staff - well they can think about implementing that idea as soon as they punt him and appoint someone with at least half a clue.

Let’s be honest at Brentford he was really just wet nursing some youngsters who occasionally needed a shoulder to cry on. Nelms was totally dishonest with our fans during Presley’s appointment, he told a bare faced lie that he was the exceptional candidate. He should just have said Gordon has found a mate who is cheap and desperate for a job.

Can we afford not too?

Nelms doesn’t care what league we’re in as long as the stadium happens. He’s cut the budget already, can’t see him taking a hit on the manager.

The TV companies who are broadcasting our games may have to put a viewer discretion warning before the programme starts..and, at the end ..one of this "if you were affected by any the issues in this broadcast, here's some numbers to call for counselling"

Word on the street & from a supporters point of view it certainly looks it.

Same, I was prepared to give him a chance but he's eroded that chance away to nothing now.

Still say it's not all his fault, he was offered a job and took it like we'd all do. The man that offered him that job should be facing serious questioning. Sadly, he won't be.

The absolute fu*king moron who offered the job to an absolute fu*king moron should pay for the severance package out of his own pocket!

I thought Pressley was a joke when he was appointed and still do, however I suspect he has probably been conned by Nelms here. God knows what Nelms must have told him in the inerview but I'm sure it wasn't that he would oversee the exodus of all of our better players, slash the budget and replace them with the dregs of lower league EFL.

It's inevitable that Pressley will be sacked - all our managers are regardless of how they perform, from Bowyer who won the league in one shot to the clown McGhee and everyone in between. It's just a matter of time and how much damage is done in the interim.

They've both been conned by each other.

All our games will have to be on after the watershed.
