So Clarke goes to Dens. United have one Scot playing. We have a few. Jon has a blinder. Squad announced. No Jon but two keepers who cannot get games. Beyond me.

Clarke could have worked from home yesterday. It was on the telly.

Got as far as Anthony Ralston and then gave up looking at the squad. He is now about 4th choice right back at Celtic and is pretty much guaranteed to be on the plane to the World Cup.

If all fit he'll take the squad who qualified

But christ almighty start having a look at younger players to see if they can either force their way into the world cup squad or are good enough to step in when the retirements come after the world cup

Poor from Clarke, the boy Curtis is a Rangers player so that has obviously helped. Ralston and Hanley should be nowhere near the squad and the keepers are a very worrying position.

Just had to look him up! Got dropped from the last under 21 squad ffs! Feel for mulligan, as the form he was in prior to getting injured surely would have seen him get involved

Got to agree that Jon McCracken going on his last two performances should be called up. His overall performance this season has been poor tbf. He should be ahead of GKs who are not playing tho.

I think being fair we've got to accept that Clarke has a preferred way of working and that is to foster a 'club' mentality at international level. He's picked a squad of players who have turned up and bonded despite some of them not playing many, if any, minutes. IF Clarke had turned up at Dens yesterday and witnessed a flawless performance from someone to the extent where he simply couldn't exclude them then fair enough but he didn't. Of the 3 reportedly being watched McCracken was the pick of the bunch but being honest the game suited him, it played to his strong points and didn't really test him with time to kick or time to dilly dally where he often comes up that wee bit short.

For me yesterday said to Clarke that McCracken was worth keeping in mind because he's a good goalkeeper on his day, Hamilton, who's been poor by his standards the last two games, is maybe worth another look (but he's probably behind other hopefuls like Mulligan) and Luke Graham is definitely one for the future if he continues to progress and he iron's out one or two, wee, mistakes.

Clarke left early and probably saw what most of us saw, a Dundee side that had been out muscled, out hustled and harried and probably out streetwised for much of the 90+ minutes before we scored.

Disappointed but not surprised.

World Cup or not I can't be ar$ed with Scotland team tbh. His teams are a closed shop and have been for years. How can he pick so many players that hardly get games for their clubs. Ralston gets more games for Scotland in a season than he does Celtic. Gunn probably only gets a feel for the ball in training and warm ups, and the young boy for Rangers, who the hell is he?!!! Now im no Jambo but NO Hearts players despite being top of the league for months but Grant Hanley gets called up for 5th placed Hibs who dont even play him, isn't a glowing reference for the team that are top of the league. Now I wasn't expecting any Dundee players in there this time, if McCracken continues his form id be hopeful of a call up for the next set of friendlies just like the time Clarke took James Forrest to the last tournament because he had about 5 or 6 decent games for Celik at the end of that season. On a positive we'll probably have the freshest team at the World Cup 🙄

Graham will get capped at some point, probably Ince he leaves Dundee in the summer, and hopefully Clarke leaves Scotland then as well.

McCracken was exceptional yesterday, but he has had calamitous games. He doesn't deserve a call up, sorry theres no anti Dundee bias there, he just isnt consistent enough, sadly he can't be trusted to play for his country.

McCracken still young for a keeper. If he can rid himself of the regular mistakes and really improve on his distribution he has all the potential to be a top class international no1. He is a fantastic shot stopper but at this moment no where near that national squad.

Everyone has said the same thing about McCracken and I have to agree, only last month he was getting criticised for some calamitous mistakes but Bain had a howler on Saturday and as for the other 2, jesus is that the best we've got? Kelly's played 3 cup games for Rangers and Gunns turned up everyday for training at Forest. I don't think McCracken has done enough so far this season to be considered and probably won't make the squad anytime soon(unless he signs for EPL team 2nd 3rd 4th choice or OF) but is he any worse than who's in the team? Guess we'll never know because McCracken plays every week where he will make mistakes and the other 2? Well you cant tell from the stands or the bench unless they drop a water bottle thrown at them from the sidelines.

But why are the two who never play in the squad? That's the mystery
