Can we not pump it into a large tank then pump it out when the drains can cope ?

There's plenty of room down where the old toilet block used to be to site a tank.

We can't get an online ticketing system.......there's no way Nelms will sign off on a Derry swimming pool :D

Where I am drainage is an ongoing problem.  In the eight years I've been here I've seen various 'solutions' but finally the local cooncil have bit the bullet and decided to actually spend money upgrading the main sewer - probably that's what's needed for us but unless Dens Road is flooding I doubt it will happen.  Short term solutions around us are pumping water into reservoir tanks which can then be used for other purposes or released into the sewer over time or digging trenches which divert the water away from the problem area for a time to allow the drain to keep up.
