Unfortunately it's been too dear for too long and some will have disappeared completely.

The Dunfermline game is in a bit of a Mickey Mouse cup, of which most dees don’t have any interest, think you could open the gates that night and we wouldn’t get 5,000.

The league is everything this season.

With Arbroath game and Raith game on the Friday this week I don’t blame anyone for watching Pars game on tv. I will be. There are limits to what folk spend on football and out of these three games most will choose to skip the diddy cup, despite the prices.

A guy taking maybe 3 kids under 12 for a tenner is s decent night out, especially for kids that normally can’t get up, not criticising anyone not going, just don’t think there’s much appetite for it, until we get to final, then it’s a day out for the fans.

A team must have at least 7 players for the game to start/ continue.

What I was meaning was with Ayr getting 7 yellows, is there any punishment for that?

In this instance 2 of those booking cost them a player, a 2-0 defeat and down to third in the league

"Emotional Damage" 😂

Is it though? It is certainly too dear for some folk, about right for others and possibly not dear at all for others. It depends on folks' income and their priorities. Some will spend £24 easily in the pub in an evening, maybe one of many in a week, and still moan about the cost of the football. A 2 pack a day smoker pays in a day about the cost of adult entry. Many of course cant afford £24 to go to the football and cant afford to smoke or drink either. It depends what supporters' priorities are and what they can afford. I wont criticise anyone for choosing not to go to matches but are they overpriced? It depends on what we expect from the team. Second division teams are charging £15 or so a game and pay players the going rate to play in that division. We could reduce playing costs, charge £15 and end up in the second division; would fans be happy? If we get promoted prices will no doubt rise to pay players that can theoretically keep us there. The old argument of halve the prices and double the crowd have been thoroughly proven to be wrong apart from a very few isolated incidences.

There are definately arguments about how well we and other clubs utilise income, some better than others but you cant reduce prices and keep rge same standard if player. Some leagues German and even England can keep prices down to a reasonable level due to tv, commercial and sponsorship income. In Scotland we cant. It us up to folk whether they attend or not but if we had a vote for lower prices lower leagues or top league and higher prices I reckon most would vote for the latter. You pay your money and make your choice!

I vaguely recall some kind of financial penalty for accumulating specific numbers of red and yellow cards but not sure of the detail, or if it's still a thing.

I see The Haters are charging £30 for adults for the home cup game with Rangers, and they're giving 3 stands to them. Home fans very unhappy but the club obviously wants to make as much as possible.

I don't disagree, let me expand a tiny amount - unfortunately it's been too dear for too long and some of those that find it too dear will have disappeared completely.

Maybe if we didn’t get such a dreadful television deal (top flight) then gate prices could have been reduced a bit….

Actually also love to know how much each championship club gets from the BBC for the horrendous inconvenience to fans for moving games to a Friday night especially for travelling punters.

Unfortunately those that disappear seldom return. Even a prolonged good spell in the Premier and even a long hoped for cup success would unlikely bring crowds back to even reasonable levels let alone the 20k in league games and up to 40k in games like Milan '63 that I enjoyed being part of in my young days.
