Still can’t believe that wasn’t a penalty and even more godsmacked that VAR didn’t tell him to go take a look as he had made a mistake.

There must be some kind of psychological issue for some of these VAR officials that their brains and mouths can’t process clear visual information under pressure.

I don't know how the ref missed it but for VAR to not give the penalty is blatant cheating. What other explanation could it be? He clearly touches the ball first and is then kicked so I don't know how VAR can stick with the refs decision. I'd love to hear the conversation between the ref and whoever was on var and the explanation why it wasn't given but sadly we never will and officials don't have to worry as there is no punishment for them cheating.
