If he doesn't think we are in a relegation battle we are done for. The difference in mentality between us and St Johnstone right now is frightening. 

Maybe that's why he has 'trusted' his weak midfielders all season and thought that they could handle anything thrown at us. Oh how we cried. He sounds like he is in denial.

I tend not to pay much attention to press statements. It’s only ever going to be spin or waffle to keep press or fans happy. Doc knows that Si Murray has no chance of a call up but it’s a public showing of support for his player. He also knows full well that we are in a relegation scrap but he’s trying to take the heat off, at least publically.

Well maybe this group of players need some fu*king heat and an absolute rocket up their ar*e's that we are in serious trouble instead of floating along in some fantasy land. The softly softly approach doesn't appear to be working thus far.

If Fraser gets back. possibly on the bench this week, and plays  regularly, it will make a huge difference to our midfield. Him and   Sylla together would be much better. He needs to get much stronger competitors into our side, should he stay on.  That might mean allowing others to move on, who are not out of contract. Build for five years of consolodation, should we stay up.

He should be coming out and being truthful saying we know we are in a fight for our lives and that himself and the players need to improve drastically from what they have been producing on the park in the last two months because it has been far from good enough. He is starting to plunge towards McGhee levels of nonsense.

There is a way of answering those questions and saying that we are not in a relegation battle is absolute fu*king nonsense.
