Mark McGhee - 7.14%

Jim McIntyre - 12.9%

Alan Kernaghan - 24.32%

Steven Pressley - 25%

Dave 'Coco' Smith - 25.92%

Kinda tells it's own story, doesn't it? 3 out of the 5 in the Nelms era. Only 1 other manager is below the 30% mark and that's Simon Stainrod.

A real who's who of our worst ever managers.

Think the famous 4-3 rangers win blinded my memory as to how crap Stainrod was, didn't realise was that poor , but when think back that was a desperate season too .

It's like the opposite of a football's most wanted list.

Football's most desperate losers in fact

To be fair to stainrod it was only one season and in the top flight. A lot of our managers win % are boosted by seasons in a lower league

Doesn't compare well with Pep's 72% but we probably couldn’t afford him, or entice him. Plus he wouldn't tick off enough of Nelm's criteria.

Apparently Mark McGhee has the worst win ratio in Scottish football so Pressley still has some work to do.

Seeing as the other four all managed us in the top flight Kernaghan stands out as the worst ever. No doubt that Nelms will employ someone worse than him in the second tier next season though.

Interesting to see Smith and Pressley so close together. Smith was an unpopular choice, a bit of a joke figure and had ridiculous hair - nothing like Pressley at all.

Did Kernighan not draw a lot of games..plus I don't think we had a pot to piss in when he was manager

Kernaghan had Billy Kirkwood as his assistant. I wonder what he’s doing now.🤔

I know that Kernighan gets a lot of stick but i agree CharlieDee, if I recall correctly he inherited a team wasn’t given any money to significantly improve the team and was gone before the next window. In my opinion is unfairly lumped in with some of the others in the long list of disastrous appointments
