Pretty sure that’s illegal.

Well much less pay then if you lose. I know the players will be on win bonuses but I feel the basic pay should be as low as possible. Most of them are just going through the motions. Hit them where it hurts.

The players are human. If you dismantle a squad and bring in loads of guys from a lower level and guys speaking different languages you're going to struggle for results.

If half your first team are loan players who are passing through the club it's going to cause you problems especially when the management and coaches are changing.

If the board sack a manager just before a huge game and create a soap opera around the new management team it's going to affect performances.

It's all very well saying "the players should be professional and deal with everything thrown at them" but it can't be easy for them. On Saturday they were playing a team that's been together for years, a starting XI that stays the same week to week. It's little wonder that we lost that game.

Just wish a few more folk could see that before a game than after a game.

We all knew what to expect at Livi but you have to go into every game thinking you can get a result.

Yep. But for the very reasons you listed,  we lost the game.

Exactly what folk were saying before the game kicked off.

Unfortunately they have signed contracts that need to be honoured or the club would be pulled over the coals.

The days of low basic and high bonuses are gone unfortunately. It’s a good idea but just wouldn’t work in modern game.

I think there is a big difference in knowing what to expect from the opposition, and knowing what our team is going to be like. What on earth happened to our defence at set pieces? Was there a change of tactics? How come Parrish had such a nightmare? Don't have the answers but we need some consistency. Who would have thought that 433 would have been a good formation for this game?

I would have thought that given Livi's success at snuffing out the threat of teams having a go, the sensible thing for Dundee to do was to sit back and play for a clean sheet. Force them to come out and then maybe try to nick a goal ourselves on the counter.

Which makes it all the more crazy that Mcintyre set the team up in a cavalier, overconfident 4 3 3.

We should have had 5 in midfield (and not Kenny Miller) and looked to grab something on the break.

The first thing JM should be doing is making us hard to beat.
