Aye see yer point , i wasnt a fan of him personally on the fact that i think he didnt care for club , he`d pull out for any reason and when he threw the captains armband etc , he really could have cared less about Dundee but as a player i thought he was a class above but difficult for me to go overboard on him cos of his attitude towards us.

Ohh how we could do with a Gav Rae in our side now.
Aye a can mind now few groans re Nemsadze not taking a shot now you say , tho cant mind hearing boos for Artero but do mind Sara getting pelters (unfairly imo)

I thought Thomson was very good for us at times but also had his fair share of equally poor games.

His best moment was against the DABS in the 3-1 game. Clearing the ball off the line with the cigar in his mouth.

I also thought he let the club down many times though and we couldn't rely on him playing every week. He would play maybe a game or two in a row then be completely missing for an important match and not even make the bench.

Thomson and Ferry both brought in to be our main midfield along with McGowan and Harkins and it was probably Jim Mac who made the most appearances for us that season.

This is my favourite KT moment... He wins possession in our half, feeds the Heff, ball returns to him, he takes a touch and has a look, sees Stewart making a run, he delivers a delightful ball onto the wing for Stewart to run onto and within seconds it's game over.

I was a big admirer of Thomson and Stewart in terms of their talent but they're never going to enter the Hall of Fame. They seemed to lack any appreciation for the club and fans IMO. Caniggia was 10x the player of those two and showed us greater respect. Harkins maybe wasn't international class but he was a proper Dee who hated the dabs and oozed class on his day so he's a bit of a legend in my book.

Cant disagree with that except Harkins , first time round but didnt like the lame excuse in how he left the club (2nd time i think it was) and towards end i thought he was done at Dundee FC level and i think i was right given he went to Ayr , saying that scary how much we`ve declined in terms of quality in our side , PH last summer spree was abysmal then followed by NM poor signing after poor signing , we`ve managed to get poorer the more seasons we`ve been in SPL , i mean how many of this current team would get in PH 1st season team in SPL

Georgi's skills to set up the second in the Juan-Two-Three game... Incredible.

I absolutely love that clip cobra ❤️

My favourite player ever at the club.

On the subject of underwhelming signings, Danny Williams is currently at non-league Fylde. Since leaving Dundee almost exactly a year ago he has played 1 minute of football for Accrington Stanley and 11 minutes for Fylde.

How do we end up signing guys on three-year deals who have absolutely nothing to offer?

You mind of Darren Williams ex Sunderland player , thought he was ok but looked overweight if i mind right , in fact i cant mind now if he was ok or not

Klimpl was a big dissapointment for me given his CV as was Di Marchi who had a great CV if i mind right
