Nade and Clarkson had no shortage of critics when they arrived and yet they made a big impact.

Allan and Thomson arrived with big reputations and yet contributed a lot less than we hoped.

We need to judge Woods on what he does for Dundee. I’m glad the club are doing what they can to bolster the squad and suddenly I feel a bit more optimistic about us staying up.

Nurse , we’ve brought him back!

Well Valentke we've all had a chance to rant and feel sorry for ourselves, but at some point we need to accept that we have the squad we have, that we have the management team we have and that we are bottom of the league and odds-on to go down.

Do we help St Mirren stay up by dragging our team down or we try to save Dundee by dragging our team up? The answer to that question is easy and with Celtic and Hearts out the way and Motherwell and St Mirren up next, now seems a good time to really get behind the club, the team and the manager.

I’m feeling inexplicabley and irrationally positive about tomorrow and your just adding to it. I can feel a 2-1 defeat coming on 😂

He obviously doesn't think so with the majority of the current bunch.

I was thinking GeDee must have posted out Cobra's new 'Happy Clappers' membership card a couple of days ago?

I presume he will replace Spence

I certainly hope so. Just don't get those who feels he contributes to the team. Never goes forward and loves giving a hospital pass. Throw in the number of goals he has cost us and I wouldn't have him near the first team

I've tried to join the Spence love-in but I'm just not seeing it. He was pretty good against Killie but otherwise I agree with the above.

Chic Charnley springs to mind. Friday night signing from Dumbarton, for a fee too, £25k. We got absolutely slaughtered for that one and I had my doubts. What a player he turned out to be though and taught me never to underestimate anyone based on rumour and hearsay.
