I'd certainly be experimenting with something different if I were Bowyer as it's looking increasingly clear that it's not working.

If McCowan is out for an extended spell and he doesn't fancy McGinn then it's time to go to the 3-5-2 that he keeps hinting at.

Here's how I'd line us up for the next game:

                            Legzdins

           McGhee -- Ashcroft -- French

Kerr                                                               Marshall

McGowan -- Any CM -- Mulligan

                      Rudden -- Robinson

I say any CM, but I'd like it to give Robertson a chance since it's League One opposition, Bowyer would probably go for Grayson but there's also Anderson. Not including Byrne since he doesn't seem to be an option.

Not saying this is the answer necessarily, but Bowyer keeps mentioning the 3 at the back, Sweeney had an absolute mare, people saying McGhee isn't a CM, Robinson looks like the only bright spot tonight and with McCowan injured and McGinn unfancied, I think this would be the logical choice.

      McGowan -- G. Souness -- Mulligan

                      Rudden -- Eddie Gallacher

I think we will fall out Ludo, thats my suggestion......... Thats the team I would pick but I hope we get an attacking midfieder in before hand and a tough no9

copy and paste job as you can tell :)

IMO If we go 3 at the back then Byrne simply has to play as he is the only player we have that can offer some protection. Maybe Anderson to come in to give us some energy in middle of Park

Was just thinking along similar lines. Sweeney being suspended is maybe a blessing in disguise because I think he's been poor and that the captaincy has hampered him. McCowan might end up being available, I'm maybe be harsh but I don't think he fancies it when it gets a wee bit physical.

Tuesday will be a real test of character and a test of GB as a manager.

We need to put a team out where all of the 10 outfield players put a shift in. And by that I don't just mean running about for 90 minutes. That should be the bare minimum. No waste of a jersey and no disappearing or digging foxholes when things get tough.

Not for the first time it looks like we are putting teams out in the hope that certain players will take a game, while we know that these players are only a 1 good game in 5 and aren't going to change at this point in their careers.

Here's a mental thought....Byrne AND Grayson....Byrne breaks it up Grayson uses it.

So, those 2 in front of Mcghee (or Cammy), Ashcroft , French; McMullan, McGowan, Mulligan supporting the loan striker (Zac or Zach).

Just thought that right off the top of my head, so keep the abuse friendly! :)

I'm just discounting him entirely as I take it Bowyer has made his mind up on him.

Yeah you are probably right. I hope he has an ace up his sleeve cause if he doesn't we desperately need Byrne imo.

3 at the back maybe a worth a go. I think 2 up top might suit both the strikers we have and this way we still get the numbers in midfield. Mulligan can go RWB if we want to make it more attack minded.

I regret buying tickets and having to spend £25 on petrol. They better entertain me!

Swerving the Falkirk game.

The price for 3 of us, a firestick and a £5k car repair bill means cash is just a wee bit tight!.😟
