Asked about the coming game, Bowyer stated “There will be changes made, that’s for sure”.

What I took from his interview was this, that there would be changes to the line-up because he wasn't happy with the performances of the players. I didn't take that there would be new faces in for this game.

I wonder whether a percentage of 'cup income' is part of the managers budget but only available after the game's been played and everything's been tallied up?.

Falkirk might find that a lot of kids and pensioners support Dundee.😁

Looking at ticket sales so far that’ll be nae budget

I don't think there's much spare cash in people's budgets and not much appetite for this game given our current form.

Agree about the spare cash. Pity we are not being sold the importance of the game. A chance to get on a new track, Ashcroft returning and a new attack plan without McCowan. Seems to me to be a good opportunity to try something new.

The press interview is an absolute embarrassment from whomever the media guy is.

Says that Falkirk are in League 2 to Bowyer and then says they're in the 'basement league' to Grayson. Asks the same question repeatedly about how it won't mean anything if we win but the knives will be out if we don't and if that's having an impact on the squad.

Ashcroft for Sweeney and McGinn for McCowan seem to be like for like replacements. They might not be the only changes but I really don't see GB radically ripping up his football philosophies tonight.

Unless we make a new signing I don't see anything tonight being new.

And the TNS draw will now utilise all of our share of tonight’s gate. I’d forfeit the TNS tie…..pointless competition.

I think we need a PATG option for home fans too.

I couldn’t be sure I could go until last night, I read there was PATG and thought great we are going…..can’t get away from central belt until 6pm so with the thought of the queue in the shop I doubt I will now. Will be the same for a number of people. ☹️
Maybe I’ll just go in the Falkirk end.

Why would we want another failure? Make Byrne the manager, seems to be the answer to all our problems. Can he play in goal?😉😛

Actually I wondered if he could play full back!!!!!!!

Bowyer was obviously speaking in anger at the weekend about making changes tonight but the more sensible option is to try and work on a set up that suits the players he has available rather than a rip it up and start again moment.

Sweeney is out for Saturday, so I'd start Ashcroft tonight. If McCowan is injured then McGinn starts for him.

I'd be tempted to bring in Anderson and McGhee in front of the back 4. Unless we sign 3 or 4 players, which is unlikely, then Grayson may be of limited use as we don't like we can split the CHs and play a higher full back attacking position with this current squad.

This could be much harder than we think. McGlynn a decent manager and they have several good players. They are on a good run, averaging 3 goals a game.

Mcghee isn't a midfielder.
