Got to hand it to Ronaldo, his other 3,000,000 free kicks get nowhere near the target but when his country needed it, badly, he produced.

The difference in the body language of both sets of players tells the story of the game - and what a game it was.

Loved every minute of that.  Didn't have a real favourite but an excellent attacking game, full of outstanding technical ability and skill.  The WC finals need more quality like this and less quantity.

Spain had a habit for decades of being the team that had so much talent, but very much the wrong attitude. Not quite as suicidal as us, though.

Terrific game, played more like a 'go for it' semi-final than their opening game.

A few fantastic goals, too....Costa doing a 'Greg Stewart', getting defenders dizzy & rolling it home....fantastic curled half-volley.....and an unstoppable free-kick. No-one deserved to lose that game, though I think Spain were the dominant in the middle third.

Maybe these group games won't be as dull as I anticipated....luckily I missed the earlier two

The Spanish national anthem has no words, it’s just a march, think it’s callled a la marcha real, nae lyrics to it so the fans just hum or sing oh oh oh oh oh ect..

What a game oh fitba though, best in the group stages of a World Cup for some time.. Ronaldo producing orgasmic scenes at the end nacho’s goal was pure sex ana.. just wow lads n lasses
