As they say, there is no smoke without fire..... and the SPFL is burning like someone poured petrol through their letterbox. IMHO the SPFL is probably the most crooked organisation next to the Mafia and the Colombian Cartels, but the only difference is that they don't get to shoot and send flowers to the wife of people they dislike or put them in barrels.

People like Doncaster don't care about Scottish Football, they only care to cater for a couple of clubs in the Premiership and nothing more. They just wanted clubs to take the money as a partial bribe into getting what they wanted and not what wouldn't benefit all the 42 clubs in Scotland. Did the SPFL bully clubs in Scotland? I would say whole heartedly 100% they did, and this hasn't been the first time either.

Whatever you think of John Nelms with our whole voting fiasco, Doncaster and the SPFL should never have put us into that position in the first place by making it clear to the other clubs that is was 'us' that was preventing the other clubs from getting 'the life line' from the SPFL. The whole reason they made out No vote was to bully us into changing our vote, and whatever false promise that they made to Nelms worked.

If that false promise to Nelms to get him to change his vote was a change to the league structure, then putting Ann Budge in charge of that was like putting the Fox in charge of the hens (This action alone smacks of unprofessionalism). But, they knew damn well that the farmer (The other clubs) would shoot the fox, because it wasn't in the best interest of a select few clubs.

The SPFL Stinks to high heaven and it is their mismanagement which has caused this whole fiasco. Scottish football stinks and it is time that the Status Quo was changed or Scottish football is going to die a long slow death...... or Celtic will be winning their 40th title in a row before the penny sinks in!

Get Doncaster out of Scottish football, and he can take his cronies with him!

The fact that the SPFL are hellbent on blocking an independent inquiry suggests to me that they have something to hide and will be exposed when it's not their investigator of choice doing the digging. The veiled threats and scaremongering from them this past few weeks has been nothing short of disgraceful and all point to a group of individuals who are desperately clinging to power.

We’re expecting a result from the EGM shortly after 3pm.

Rangers need nine Premiership teams, eight Championship and then 15 from League One and League Two.

Dundee were not one of the seven clubs who spoke at the meeting.

Totally agree, although using this part of your text in posts a while back got things going on here I seem to remember:

there is no smoke without fire.....

I must admit I am getting more and more disillusioned with Scottish football (well football in general with the whole VAR fiasco and the corruption associated with the Champions League's attempts to make the rich clubs richer at the expense of others).

Good knows when the leagues will recommence with crowds in attendence, and what will the atmosphere be like in the post covid19 days. The longer the break the more difficult it will be for some to get back into the weekly/fortnightly habit. The impact of covid19 on fans available expendable income could also impact on future crowds in the short term.

Before I would have been extremely interested in the result of the vote, but now I couldn't give a monkeys.

EGM requisition is defeated. 13 votes in favour , 27 against and 2 abstentions. 32 votes were required for it to pass.

Again, Scottish football and football teams only out for themselves and no one else.

Doncaster will continue on regardless now.
