They're not and have not been footing the accommodation bill for well over a month now. Supposedly Kawa, Demel and Pongolle are on the best part of £9k a week between them.

Love the speculation, I'll toss my own in, I heard that Demel and Kawa were on 5k a week (each), whatever all these January signings are on it won't be buttons and will be adding to this seasons financial problems.

I find it hilarious that Granville has probably spent a chunk of next season's budget bringing in mercenaries on big money in a desperate attempt to keep United up. The problem is these guys are only here until the summer for some easy money and are not too bothered about United getting relegated. It really is a masterclass in bad decision making.

I was in total disbelief when they signed him. There was some stat that at West Ham, he was the best full back in the league defensively (think it was for players getting past him) and he looked a quality player a couple of seasons ago.

It is always satisfying though seeing some Billy Big Baws come up north with the understanding that they are going to a pub league and then go onto struggle. Our league is better than we give it credit for I think.

Any fair minded fan could see that the guy has been a very good player in his day.

His problem is that his running days are well behind him, to play him in central defence is madness, any good player with pace will badly expose him.
