He's at Dens Park, the home of his boyhood club, he's crestfallen by United's relegation, draped in tangerine and embracing dabs at the final whistle.

He has moved on from being a Dundee fan and nobody is going to convince me otherwise.

Simon Murray is consoled by fans after his team were relegated to the Scottish Championship

I'm not sure if you're just bored or if the young man in question tried to chat your burd up but you seem to have a massive hard on about this, for the life of my I'm not sure why it matters. If it was another club apart from the Arabs nobody would care. I get it for the 12 year olds who haven't grown up enough to look it from a world perspective involving finances, careers, family etc but for the more mature and sophisticated cat about town, I reckon we should show a bit of understanding. Just my opinion of course and no offence to 12 year olds. ;)

Know for a fact that we wanted him to come on trial. Utd  offered hard cash, and Arbroath accepted offer.

We weren't prepared to commit, without trial. So he didn't Snub us.

And he is 100% a Dundee supporter.

People forgetting his GIRFUY to the Bobby Cox after Ofere notched in the Doon Derby.

We all say f**ked if I'd sign for united..but that's us as fans talking...we'd all feel differently if it was our job and there was a few hundred quid a week involved

Nah sorry I wouldn't, how could you look yourself in the mirror, or you family in the eye? Life's too short to be a dab I'm afraid.?

Even if it was just that I could see it but at the time United were a better and bigger club (sorry if this offends) and probably most importantly for a young guy trying to make his way into professional football, they HAD a fantastic record of developing and selling on young players.

It amazes me that some can't get over this, now maybe the guy put his professional football career before his allegiances, especially if he would rather be at DFC but what we were offering was crap compared to what other clubs were offering (in this case our neighbours). I still think if it had been Killie or whoever it wouldn't be an issue and he'd have been cut a lot more slack. Its easy to come out with this pish when you're not even playing P/T football and have a 'real' job to fund your lifestyle, if you think you're good enough to play professional football and a team you wouldn't choose comes in for you then why not go for it. ITS ONLY FOOTBALL.
