Got to say I've got a really good feeling about this lad, not heard a bad word said about him and the Sunderland fans seem genuinely gutted.

Looks like Jack Ross might have done us a big favour. Being a Dee, he won't have enjoyed watching our results since he turned down the job, so he'll be as keen as the rest of us to see Nelson deliver.

Comes across as a very 'grown up' young man, he seems to know what he wants and doesn't have his head up his a**e. Refreshing to see.

That's funny if there wasn't any truth in it. I'm convinced that there will be be a pretty sizeable sell-on clause in his contact. Sunderland haven't let a very promising young striker come up here for peanuts without  inserting something in the contract. They and Jack Ross would look pretty stupid if he went on to bigger things and netted us a fortune.

If he helps save us from relegation this season, then the large sell on fee will be more than worth it in the future.

Hopefully we can field a midfield that can supply our forwards and chip in with goals as well.

Promising signing. Think he might do alright.

Curran I'm expecting to be better than Moussa and Mendy and work his socks off.

Miller will get a few goals but don't think he'll be as prolific as that short period when his ratio was sky high. Maybe another 6 or 7 goals from him.

Kallman has to be fourth choice now you'd think. Works and is interested but never really looks close to scoring that one goal aside.

I've nothing against sell on clause's. They're one way we can get a better standard of player with the budget that we have to work with. In a year and a half's time though when Nelson is a fan's favourite and we're struggling to agree on an extension with someone offering decent money for his services we'll be slated for agreeing to a massive sell on.
