My point is there are no differing opinions. I don’t think even the most hardened happy would argue that anything was rosy.
I just think now is the time to acknowledge it and take the next step. Enough venting, what do we do to make things better.

Theres no venting on here, hasn't been for weeks. Theres sad miserable acceptance at best, and absolute indifference at worst.

If someone wants to say something negative, that's up to them, we live in a free country. If some fan wants to take a stupid banner to the game, that will only make him look like a tit, that's up to him. You do you, I will do I, others will do as they please, that's life 👍

Some fans aren't going back, while some will have their season ticket money hidden away for next season. Theres no absolute right or wrong choice in that alternative, despite one being the contrast of the other. There will never be complete agreement between a group of people, let alone fitba fans.

Thanks for feedback guys. For what it’s worth I also think the banner is pointless and looks like a fag packet effort.

Hopefully he takes it.

This should be the start of fans voices behind heard.

Totally agree. It’s not like there is a lot of financial backers banging on the door to take Dundee to the next level.

Oh well we should all just keep our mouths shut and continue to accept this sh**e from  Nelms and Keyes  alienating fans who have supported this club their whole lives because we have nothing better coming along.

Poor way to express a valid opinion IMO.

I'd also throw in the fact that using the word Yanks in such a way is verging on racist.  We see it used on this forum too along with other derivatives - sometimes well-intentioned but usually when expressing a negative opinion. Its akin to using Jock which I've experienced  a LOT and it's mostly been in a nasty context rather than the term of endearment many hide behind.

Again, valid opinion expressed poorly for me.

Tried to explain to people how the word Jock is used as a racist term particularly when living abroad and mostly by English people.

Words like Jock, Paddy, Taff and even Geordie or Scouser at times are usually preceded by 'thick' or followed by 'c*nt' or 'twat'. Blatant racism but ask them and it's just banter - call them a thick English c*nt though and it becomes a different story for some reason.

To call someone from Texas a Yank just shows complete ignorance.

The word Yanks is not used in this banner. It was designed by a guy who lived in USA for 25 years and knows US history better than most and even gives talks on the US civil War.
