Nelms has been derided over many things, most of it probably deserved. Im reasonably confident that this will happen soon, they just wouldn't waste a very considerable sum of money to get this far, unless they fully planned on finishing it.

Dens has been our home, and has some great memories for all of us, but in all honesty, its a bit of a dump now, and is far beyond its best days. A brand new stadium gives us the opportunity to plan for the future.

Been a difficult one to fully go all in given the shysters and charlatans that've tormented us with tales of grand redevelopment plans only to cruelly drop us from a great height just as we thought we were about to hit the stadium big time. Nelms' article in The Courier finally has me thinking that this really is going to happen. It'll be the biggest letdown of my time supporting Dundee if it doesn't and I'll probably go to jail after chopping the MD into little bits and feeding him to the Derry pigeon's.

I have been a big sceptic of the stadium plan and feel like a lot of releases have been hot air without much information. 

However, this is probably the best piece I have read on it. It actually gives some numbers and some of the thinking behind the plan and addresses the concerns re: road access. 

As a Dundee we are natural pessimists so I am still slightly reserved until a spade is in the ground, however I am now coming round to believing that this might actually happen.
