Ok been in touch with one of the directors at Arbroath. 
 

He told me “ it’s Police decision, 
as we are smaller ground with less turnstiles any game with potential to be over 3000 needs to be all tickets . 
We were told both away ends next 2 weeks would be 2000 plus . 
So far 
Dundee 1200 sold 
United    2800 sold”

He also told me that we will be selling tickets off the team bus outside right up until kick off for anyone wanting a ticket

Thank you Police Scotland. I dread to think of the deadly stampedes that might happen if they allowed PATG for games with crowds of 3000+ at Arbroath.

I cant make the game as my old man unwell ... if anyone is passing through cupar and wants to take two tickets  off my hands they are welcome to have them for nothing..  just like to see them used... call me on 07871753560

And by around 5.00pm tonight he's had some news to bring back his sparkle & he disnae suffer a set-back

As further possible evidence, has anyone ever noticed either of them 'foot-tapping' along to any bluegrass (banjo) tunes in the pub?
